UPTET 2020 Notification
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). The exam is conducted once a year for the recruitment of primary (classes I-V) and upper primary (classes VI-VIII) level teachers in schools of Uttar Pradesh. The application process for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2020 is now expected to start in the new year itself. Because the government has not yet approved the proposal. There is a meeting of the exam institution and NIC on Monday, in which the timetable for taking online application can be fixed. Delayed decisions may have an impact on the exam date. Let me tell you that before the end of the month of February, there was a preparation for the examination.
The UPTET paper 1 consists of 5 sections namely Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), 2nd Language (Any one from English, Urdu & Sanskrit), Mathematics and Environmental Studies with 30 questions from each section to be attempted in a total duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates need to prepare each section thoroughly to surpass the cut off marks.

Step 3: Register for the UPTET by entering the required details
Step 4: Now apply by using the registration details
Step 5: Upload scanned images of photograph and sign
Step 6: Pay the application fee
Step 7: Save the confirmation page
UPTET 2020 Eligibility
Primary Teacher (Class 1st-5th)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)*
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
Graduation + B.Ed final year appearing & passed aspirants can apply
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6th-8th)
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE
OR
Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years B.El.Ed

Age Limit:
To apply for UPTET 2019, you need to have minimum age 18 years. There is no maximum age limit for UPTET 2019.
