Solutions

S2. Ans.(b)
Sol. 80°+x+60°= 180°
140°+x= 180°
X= 180°-140°
= 40°

S7. Ans.(a)
Sol. ∠OAC= ∠ACO (OA=OC radius of circle)
40°= ∠ACO – (1)
∠OBC= ∠BCO (BO=OC radius of circle)
20° = ∠BCO – (2)
So, ∠ACB = ∠ACO+∠BCO
= 40+20= 60°
∠AOB= 2∠ACB
= 2×60°
= 120°
