Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Exam is conducted at the central level by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). As CTET 2020 is going to conduct on 31st January 2021, the candidate has to get ready and start taking steps towards the preparation to clear the CTET exam. Social studies is the main subject in the CTET exam Paper II. Humanities/Arts students may opt Social studies as a main subject in CTET Paper II. The Social Studies section plays a vital role in achieving the score required to cross the cut off marks in CTET Exam.
As per the CTET Social Studies Syllabus 2020, a total of 60 questions are asked in this section in multiple choice objective format. Each question is of 1 mark and there is no negative marking. The questions from the Social Studies are asked to test the candidate’s knowledge of the subject.
