Rajasthan Education Board has opened the REET Online Correction window for the registered candidates. Candidates may allow the REET Application Form 2021. The information such as  Name. father name, mother Name & DOB  is not able to correct in REET Exam Form 2021 till 25th February. Rajasthan Education Board had released the notification of REET or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination For Teachers (REET) 2021 on their official website. The REET Online Application process was started on 11 Jan 2021 & concluded on 20th  Feb 2021.

REET 2021: REET 2021 notification has been going to release from 11 Jan 2021 to 8 Feb 2021. On February 06, 2021,  Online Application for REET 2021 is extended till February 20, 2021. And the Good News is B.Ed candidates can also apply for PRT (REET Level 1 Exam). REET is the teaching eligibility test comprised of  2 exams i.e. Paper-1 which is conducted for the selection at the primary level i.e. class I to V and Paper 2  which is conducted for secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII. The REET 2021 Examination will be going to held on 25 April 2021.

The examination pattern, eligibility criteria have been updated now with new modifications. Earlier Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced that 32,000 teaching vacancies will be out soon after the REET exam. It will be a relief for those students who are patiently waiting for the REET exam and the upcoming 32000 teaching vacancies.

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination of teachers (REET) is an eligibility test that is conducted by Rajasthan Education Board. The candidates who pass this test will only be suitable to apply for the third-grade vacancies for teaching posts which will be out soon. RBSE had announced 32000 vacancies for the post of government 3rd grade teacher at the state level in Rajasthan. The candidates to appear for these vacancies must clear the qualifying test which is to be held in the upcoming month in an offline mode. Candidate can apply for the level-1 and level-2 exams to get eligible for a third-grade teaching exam. Paper-1 is conducted for the selection at the primary level i.e. class I to V and Paper-2 is conducted for secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII.

Eligibility and Qualification for REET 2021

Age Limit: The candidate is eligible for filling the application during his minimum age is 21 years with age relaxation for the candidates from the reserved category.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary  with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

According to the recent notification, there is no change in the REET exam pattern. As per the sources, the REET exam pattern will be changed, still no confirmation yet.

REET Exam Pattern for Level-1 exam

•Level-1 paper is for the candidates who want to get selected at the primary level teaching profession.
•The Level-1 paper is of a total of 150 questions with one mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for the Level-1 exam.
•The time duration for the Level-1 exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
•The choice of languages included in paper-1 is English, Hindi, Sindhi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Gujarati, and Punjabi.

•The level-2 exam is for the candidates who want to begin their career in upper-primary teaching for classes 6 to 8.
•The exam will be of 150 questions with one mark each and no negative marking.

REET Admit Card 2021

The candidates can download the admit card from the RBSE official website on 14 April 2021 with simple steps of filling in the required credentials. The exam date for REET 2020-21 has been decided to be conducted on 25th April 2021. The admit card will be released separately for candidates appearing for Level-1 and Level-2.

Validity of the REET 2021 Exam

The validity of REET 2020:The validity of the REET 2020 exam will be 3 yrs.

REET Result 2021

The result is expected to be out after one month of the conduction of the examination. The exam date for REET 2020-21 has been decided to be conducted on 25th April 2021. The result will be uploaded firstly on the official website of RBSE along with the list of selected candidates. REET is a qualifying exam and a candidate has to score at least 60% to get selected. The qualifying limit for OBC/ST/SC is a minimum 55% marks. The qualifying candidates will be called for further procedures to get selected at the post of teachers in Rajasthan schools.

Revised REET 2021 Passing Criteria

As REET 2021 examination is out , the Supreme Court has also release order for NCTE regarding the revised passing criteria for REET 2021. There will be 5 to 20 percent passing percentage relaxation for candidates to qualify REET 2021. Here are the details given below :

In the REET Teaching Recruitment Examination, the weightage of the marks obtained in the REET exam has been increased. Previously, the weightage of the REET marks is only 70% and 30% is for the academic weightage of the candidates. Now it is converted into 90: 10.
