REET 2021 : Check Revised Eligibility Criteria For B.Ed and D.El.Ed Candidates

REET Eligibility Criteria 2021: Rajasthan Education Board has released the notification of revised eligibility criteria for candidates who want to apply for REET 2021 Level I & II. All the candidates who has passed B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses can apply for REET 2021 examination. As REET will be conducted for filling 32000 Grade III Teacher’s posts, The online application for REET 2021 will be concluded on 19th February 2021. The REET Exam is now scheduled for 25th April 2021. To know about the detailed REET eligibility criteria 2021 as described by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). We are sharing the Detailed REET Eligibility Criteria as per the latest notification.

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/B.Ed/B.El.Ed

 

REET Notification 2021 – Educational Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation with B.Ed passed from recognized university (Revised Eligibility Criteria)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Diploma in Elementary Education from NIOS(Revised Eligibility Criteria)

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): 

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation or post-graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year in B.A. /B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Note:- Amendment by NCTE Notification No.F.No. NCTE-Reg/012/22/2019-US(Regulation)-HQ. Dated 13th November 2019 “At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed.” the following Proviso inserted-“Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or an equivalent course prior to the 29th July 2011.”

REET Age Limit:

The candidate is eligible for filling the application during his minimum age is 18 years with age relaxation for the candidates from the reserved category

REET 2021 Qualifying Marks

 

A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.

In the REET Teaching Recruitment Examination, the weightage of the marks obtained in the REET exam has been increased. Previously, the weightage of the REET marks is only 70% and 30% is for the academic weightage of the candidates. Now it is converted into 90: 10.

REET 2021 Validity

The validity of REET 2021:The validity of the REET 2020 exam is  3 yrs from the date of issuance of the REET exam certificate.
