The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has conducted the OTET Exam on 09th April 2021.The exam will be held in the written mode for Paper-I and Paper-II only. The exam will be held offline in pen and paper mode. All the candidates can download their OTET admit card from their official website by filling their registration number and Email Id.

OTET Exam Pattern
(I) There shall be two papers of the OTET viz- Paper-I and Paper-II.
(II) Total duration of the test in each paper shall be 2½ hours.
(III) All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer is correct.
(IV) The question papers in non-language subjects shall be bilingual i.e. in Odia and English.
(V) Following languages shall be offered in Language – I:- Odia, Hindi, Telugu,
Urdu, Bengali. The candidate has to choose any one of the above languages for the Language-I subject.
(VI) Language-II subject shall be English for all candidates.
(VII) There shall be no negative marking
Some Exam Tips:
1. Take a printout of your admit card and original photo identity proof, photocopy of the ID proof. Please be on time because the organizers may be strict so try to reach on time, at least half an hour earlier before the mentioned time.
2. Follow your Strategy that you have prepared for yourself. Now, this is the time when you executed and performed in the best possible way in the exam hall.
3. Time management plays a very important role in your exam. Always keep a track of your time and no. of questions attempted. Managing time will be important for the exam, so do not waste your time in any particular questions. For checking your preparation and manage your time during an exam you have to practice more & more.
4.Don’t leave any question UNREAD. Always give initial 5-10 minutes to read the questions paper and then decide which section you want to attempt first, make wise and informed decisions, don’t approach any question blindly, it might cost you heavily.
5. Do not forget to have a healthy sleep: Don’t try to pull an all-nighter before an exam. Do not spend your all night cramming the whole syllabus. Instead, sleep calmly and get up with a fresh and healthy mind to be all prepare for the exam.
