Sol. 2x/3-[5(4x/5-4/3)]/2=1/3
⇒4x/3-4x+20/3=2/3
⇒(12x-4x)/3=(20-2)/3
⇒8x/3=6
⇒x=(6×3)/8=9/4

S2. Ans.(d)
Sol. Let a = 3 and b= 1
∴ a³ +b³ = 3³ + 1³ = 28 (satisfied)
And a+ b = 3 + 1= 4 (satisfied)
∴ ab =3 × 1 = 3

S3. Ans.(b)
Sol. Let the fraction be x
∴ 6x-7/x=11
⇒ 6x² – 7 = 11x
⇒ 6x² – 11x – 7 = 0
x=(11±√(121+4×7×6))/12
⇒ x=7/3

Sol. We know
S_n=n/2 (a+l)
=11/2 (-31+29)= -11

Sol. Reflection of a point (x, y) and line x = a
Image → (–x + 2a, y)
