The nationwide lockdown has been further extended in containment zones till 30th June 2020, while prohibited activities will re-open in a phased manner in areas outside containment zone.The night curfew, however, has been relaxed to 9 pm to 5 am.
As the lockdown has been continuously extended since March 21st and it been over two months still the lockdown exists. India is currently going through the Lockdown 4.0 with some relaxations in the movement of people. The Lockdown 4.0 will end on 31st May 2020.
The government has also announced to re-open hotels, shopping mall and religious places from 8th June 2020 outside the containment zones.The decision on reopening school and Colleges will be taken in July.The dates of restarting international air travel, metro service, gym & theatre will be decided later after assessment
As per the sources, lockdown 5.0 will be implemented in selected cities depending upon the number of corona virus cases reported. Some cities are expected to have major lockdown restrictions due to the Red zones.
