Preparation tips for KVS EXAM 2020
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan(KVS) conducts the exam for the recruitment of various teaching and non-teaching i.e. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Primary Teacher (PRT) etc. The KVS notification will be out soon and candidates should gear themselves up for the upcoming KVS Exam.
The exam pattern of KVS consists of 150 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes. The major subject contributing a total of 80 marks is the subject concerned for which the candidate is applying.

Before starting your preparations, make sure to go through the complete syllabus and note down the important topics that need your attention. The exam pattern of KVS consists of various subjects namely English, Hindi, GK, Current Affairs, computer, Reasoning ability, pedagogy and the subject concerned. One needs to make sure they have well-equipped knowledge of the syllabus.
2. Follow a proper study plan
Allotting time to all the subjects daily must be done by the aspirants. Follow a study plan daily as it will give a boost to your preparations and you will remain more focused. Teachersadda will also be providing the KVS study plan to help the aspirants in their preparations.
3. Go through the previous year papers
Previous year papers give you an idea of the type of questions that can be asked in the paper. Download previous year papers and solve the questions to check where you stand. It will also help you to understand the difficulty level of this exam so that you can strategize your preparations accordingly.

4. Practice mock tests
Mock tests are the best way to practice and improvise your performance. Take one mock test daily and then work on the topics that you are having difficulty with. Mock tests will help you in scoring good marks in the KVS exam.
5. Work on your weaker areas
Many aspirants tend to leave their weaker topics with the fear of never getting it right. Candidates must solve quizzes daily from the weaker topics. Your weaker areas must be focused and need more attention.
6. Time management is the key
There might be no negative marking in the KVS exams, but the questions must be attempted within the stipulated time. Candidates must manage their time according to their convenience and should not spend more than 2-3 minutes on one question. Attempt the easier questions first and then solve the difficult ones.
