KVS 2018 Exam Analysis for PGT Post

Dear Readers,

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has conducted the examination for PGT Post on 23 December 2018.The First shift of KVS Exam i.e. 9:30 AM -11:00 AM is over now. Today, we are going to share the detailed exam analysis of KVS 2018 Exam, which will help you to know the level of the exam. Overall level of the exam was Moderate.

KVS will take exams in two parts:

  • Written Test
  • Interview

General English:
The General English section was of Easy-Moderate level. The topics which dominated were synonyms-antonyms, Idioms, Fill in the Blanks and error detection.

General Hindi:
The General Hindi section was of Easy-Moderate level. Candidates were able to attempt 7-8 questions without much difficulty.

Current Affairs & General Awareness:
The General Awareness section was of Easy-Moderate level.  Questions related to Man Booker prize, Brown Agenda, Indus Civilisation, Asian Games 2018 were asked.

Reasoning section was quite Easy and most of the questions were doable. Reasoning was mainly centred around coding-decoding, number series, direction sense and blood relation.

Computer Literacy:

This Section was of Easy-Moderate Level. This section tested basic computer knowledge of a candidate who has not made a special study of any computer  science subject. Questions related to shortcut keys, printer, anti-virus, speed of internet and image file extension were asked.
