Education Dept of Karnataka had released the notification for the KARTET 2020 exam postponed which was going to held on 11 April 2020 due to KSET Exam. Karnataka TET 2020 Exam Date has been Postponed due to coronavirus. The registration process has been again re-opened.Provision Provided for those candidates who have not applied earlier and candidates who completed the application and not paid the feeLast date for Registration and payment is 11-06-2020.The New exam date will be Announced Soon.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate can apply for this exam if they want to be a primary teacher (class I to V) if he/she has passed PUC / Senior Secondary with 50% scores with holds a degree of D.Ed /B.El.Ed with 50% passing marks.

The candidate can apply for an upper primary teacher (class VI to VIII) if a candidate holds a degree of B.A/B.Sc/B.El.Ed with 50% marks or degree of B.Ed with 50% marks.

There is no limit to the number of attempts for the KAR TET exam as it is just an eligibility test.

For Paper-I

The aspirant must have passed senior secondary and along with it should have passed/appearing in Diploma in Elementary Education or is a B.El.Ed qualified/appearing in last semester. The candidate who holds a diploma in Education or a diploma in elementary education is also eligible for this test.

For Paper-II

The candidates who hold the below-required education qualification are eligible to appear for KAR TET Paper-II for upper primary classes.

The aspirant must be a qualified graduate along with a diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). The aspirant who has completed senior secondary education with a bachelor in elementary education (B.EL.Ed) or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed is also eligible to apply for the exam.

KAR TET Exam Pattern

To be familiar with the exam pattern is the key point to build-up your preparation and help you to score more in the exam. Karnataka TET is scheduled for 15th March 2020 in two shifts i.e. Paper-1 in the morning shift ( 9:30 am to 12 noon) and Paper-2 in the afternoon shift (2:00 pm to 4:30 pm).

Qualifying Marks for KAR TET 2020

As KAR TET 2020 is just a qualifying test, therefore no such merit list or cut-off will be provided. A candidate has to score a minimum of 60 % marks to get qualify in the test and in case of SC/ST/C-1 category, the minimum qualifying marks are 55%.

KARNATAKA TET 2020 Validity

The certificate provided to the candidate has a validity of 7 years from the date of issue and there is no such limitation to the number of attempts for the KAR TET exam.
