The Students who have qualified B.Ed may also eligible to apply for CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2021. According to the recent development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the eligibility criteria for CTET Exam 2021.The candidates those who passed B.Ed exam and already applied for CTET paper II, now they can apply for both the papers — Paper-I and Paper-II.

CTET Eligibility Criteria:
CTET Paper I ( For Primary Teacher)
Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 45 – 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in 2 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage.
CTET Paper II ( For Secondary Teacher)
Graduation with at least 45 – 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or BEd (Special Education) or four- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or BA/BScEd or BAEd/ BScEd are also eligible to apply.
B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for B.Ed., these necessary qualifications are to be fulfilled:
- Graduation (B.Sc., B.Com, B.A) from any recognized University with a minimum 50% score.
- Master’s Degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanity/Commerce with minimum 50% marks will be eligible.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Mathematics and Science with at least 55% marks or any equivalent qualification will also be eligible.

The admission to the Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] curriculum in colleges in India is conducted mainly through entrance exams conducted by the states and institutions for granting admission to students. Aspirants are required to apply in an entrance test organized by the various public and private institutes and universities for admission in various teaching institutions attached to it.
