According to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) under RTE act,  TET exam is minimum and essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII in school.

Subject wise CTET Exam Strategy:

In Paper I , there will be 5 subjects i.e.  Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics and Environmental studies. Language -1 & 2 is chosen by candidates according to the educational qualifications.

The difficulty level of questions in CTET Paper 1 will be given below:
  • Paper I: based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT for classes upto VIII.
  • Difficulty level: up to the Secondary stage.

In CTET Paper 2 , there will be 5 subjects i.e.  Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics EVS, and  Science or Social Studies or Any language. Language -1 & 2 is chosen by candidates according to the educational qualifications. Teaching subjects  is selected by candidate based on their qualification.

The difficulty level of questions in CTET Paper  will be given below:

  • Paper I & II: based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT for classes upto X
  • Difficulty level : up to the Senior Secondary stage.
