CTET 2021 July Notification

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted CTET exam for those aspirants who want to become govt. teachers. CBSE has delayed the CTET 2021 exam notice due to COVID -19 Pandemic situation.

According to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII is to pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government every Year. It is a mandatory qualification for teachers. CTET Exam 2021 is a central-level exam that is conducted by CBSE.

There will be always two papers:

  • Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

CTET Full Form is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET 2021 Exam notification will be released on the official website. To crack CTET 2021 Exam students must aware of the CTET Syllabus & Exam pattern in detail.

How To Fill CTET 2021 Application Form?

Step 1: Click on the CTET Online Form link to get redirected to the official website of CTET (www.ctet.nic.in) to fill out the Online Application Form for CTET 2021 July Exam.

Step 2: If you are a new user, Click on the “New Registration” button to register yourself. Otherwise, fill in your required details and click on the “SIGN IN” button.

Step 3: Fill in all the required credentials: Candidate Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, DOB, etc.

Step 4: Now choose the Exam Centre and the medium of instruction for the CTET 2021 exam in which you want to attempt the paper (English/Hindi).

Step 5: Enter your aadhar card number/PAN, chose your gender, category and finally select the status of Employment and also fill the status of the Qualifying Exam.

Step 6: Now fill in your Educational Details: the most recent qualification you hold, your percentage marks, etc.

Step 7: Fill in your communication address, phone number, and email ID.

Step 8: Upload your photo and signature. Both the images must be jpg, png, or jpeg format and must have a white background.

Step 9: After that, you will be directed to the payment page. The payment can be made for CTET 2021 Exam through Credit Card/Debit Card/E-Challan.

Step 10: Click on the SUBMIT button. Your CTET 2021 Application Form will be successfully submitted.

Note:

  • The size of the photo image must be greater than 10 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • The size of the signature image must be greater than 3 kb and less than 30 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm(width) * 4.5 cm(Height) only.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm(length) * 1.5 cm(Height) only.

CTET 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): 

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Note: 

  • Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education, etc., are provisionally admitted. Their certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations, before the declaration of Exam result.

CTET 2021: Application Fee

Candidates can apply for CTET 2021 Exam by logging in to the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test after the notification for the same has been released. A candidate belonging to either the General or OBC category is required to pay Rs. 1000/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1200/- (if applying for both the papers). The amount of Rs. 500/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 600/- (if applying for both the papers) for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

What is the difference between CTET and TET?

CTET Cut-Off and Qualifying Marks and Award of CTET Certificate:

The candidates appearing in the exam will be issued a Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% (General) and above marks will be issued a marks statement and Eligibility Certificate. The examination consists of two papers. Paper 1 is meant for the candidates who wish to be teachers for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is meant for the candidates who wish to be teachers for classes 6 to 8. Both the papers are 150 marks each. Those candidates who will score marks equal to or more than 90 will be considered qualified.

    1. Those who did B.Ed can apper only in Paper – II and Not for Paper – I….

      Appearing for Paper – I, you must have D.ED/BTC/JBT degree.

  2. B.Tech candidates are eligible for PGT post. they don't need to qualify ctet.

    But for experience, you can appear in ctet exam.

    1. After CTET clearance, you are eligible for TGT post, which is appoint for teaching up to 6 to 10th standard.

    1. As CTET certificate is acceptable only if you completed your B.Ed or pursuing last semester.

      But, you can apply it for experience & to get familiar for the pattern or level of exam.

    1. B.Tech candidates are eligible for PGT post. they don't need to qualify ctet.

      But for experience, you can appear in ctet exam.

    1. If you did B.Com, then you are not eligible for TGT post but yes if you have m.com degree, then you can apply for PGT post.

      And for PGT post, you don't need to appear in ctet exam.
