CTET Exam Date 2024
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test for July 2024 will be conducted in an offline mode (OMR-based) to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Classes 1-8. The exam of CTET will be conducted in two shifts Morning and evening.
The CTET exam is scheduled to take place in two shifts. Paper 1 will be administered in the morning session, running from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while Paper 2 is scheduled for the afternoon session, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

CTET Eligibility Criteria
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has released a notification stating the revised CTET eligibility criteria for candidates who are pursuing a Teacher Training Course(TTC). According to the NCTE notification, the candidates who are pursuing Teacher Training courses will be eligible to apply for the CTET Exam.
The candidate must go through the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the CTET Online application form. Here we are sharing the CTET Eligibility for Primary and Upper Primary level CTET exams.

CTET 2024 Exam Pattern
As per the CTET Exam Pattern 2024, there will be two papers i.e. CTET Paper 1 & CTET Paper 2.
- Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Note: Mathematics & Science- 30 MCQs each -60 Marks Or Social Studies/Social Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There is no penalty for any wrong answers.
CTET 2024 Syllabus Paper 1 & 2
The new CTET 2024 Syllabus has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on their official website. The CTET 2024 syllabus is based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2005 and the Right to Education Act (RTE) 2009. To crack the CTET 2024 Exam students must be aware of the CTET 2024 Syllabus & New Exam Pattern in detail. Take a look at the important points:
- CTET Paper 1 Subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP), Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Subject concerned Pedagogy, Mathematics and Subject concerned Pedagogy, Environmental Studies and Subject concerned Pedagogy.
- CTET Paper 2 Subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP), Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Subject concerned Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science and Subject concerned Pedagogy OR Social Science and Subject concerned Pedagogy.
CTET 2024 Cut-Off
CTET 2024 Off Marks is 60% marks for the general category candidates. Therefore, the candidates belonging to the general category must score 90 marks out of a total of 150 marks.
The CTET 2024 Off Marks for the OBC category /SC category /ST category is 55% marks. In other words, candidates belonging to the OBC category, SC category, and ST category must secure 82 marks out of a total of 150 marks to become CTET qualified.

CTET 2024 Exam Centre
The CTET 2024 Exam will be conducted in more than 135 CTET 2024 Exam Centres. The candidates are required to choose four Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 Exam Centres at the time of CTET 2024 Registration. The CTET 2024 Exam Centres chosen by the candidates will be given the first preference by the CBSE board.

CTET 2024 Admit Card
Aspirants eagerly await the release of the CTET admit card, which serves as their ticket to the examination hall. The admit card contains essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination center, date, and time of the exam.
It is a mandatory document for candidates to carry to the examination center, failing which they may be barred from taking the test. Therefore, candidates are advised to download and print their CTET admit cards well in advance of the examination date and verify all details to avoid any last-minute complications
CTET 2024 Qualifying Marks
As per the guidelines set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), to qualify for the CTET exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 60% marks. The CBSE CTET result is announced based on the minimum qualifying marks or passing marks fixed by the board.
The CTET cut-off refers to the minimum qualifying marks. There is no specific CTET cut-off criterion for 2024. Candidates only need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the exam.
