  • Last Date to Apply Online for 2020:  2nd Mar 2020 (Extended 9th March 2020)
  • Last date for submission of fee 2020: 5th Mar 2020 (Extended 13th March 2020)
  • CTET 2020 Online corrections :17 Mar 2020 to 24 Mar 2020
  • CTET 2020 July Admit Card: June 2020
  • CTET 2020 Exam Dates: 5th July 2020

CTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • CTET Paper I ( For Primary Teacher)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR 
Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates has to mandatory undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.
  • CTET Paper II ( For Secondary Teacher)
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR
 
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.
 

Age Limit:

Their is no age limit required for CTET examination. You can attempt number of times as the validity of the certificate is over so you can renew it or you want to improve your CTET score.
