Army Public School Recruitment 2020: Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has released the notification to fill 8000 vacancies for PGT, TGT and PRT posts all over India. The eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the posts of PGT/TGT/PRT through the official website @www.aps-csb.inon or before 20th October 2020.

Steps To Apply APS Recruitment 2020:
Candidates can apply through link provided below or they can also apply through official site of Army Public School.
Step 1: Visit the official website of Army Public School or Army Welfare Education Society.
Step 2: In a home click on “New User”. If you have already registered yourself then click on “Existing User”.
Step 3: Now, Login with your ID and Password to proceed further.
Step 4: Read all the detailed instruction carefully then open “Online registration” link.
Step 5: Enter your required details e.g. Name, Gender, Age, Contact Number, Category etc. in prescribed format.
Step 6: Candidates need to pay examination fee (Rs 500) online through Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net-banking etc.
Step 7: After payment of fee, the candidates will be asked by the system to attached following documents:
(i) Photographs and Signatures – The size of the photo should be 140 x 160 (60Kb) and size of this signature file should be 60 x 90 (30Kb).
(ii) Proof of Date of Birth
(iii) Certificates of Academic Qualifications
Step 8: Click on “Submit” button after verifying filled information.
Step 9: Once registration is completed, the candidates will get a confirmation that registration is successful. Candidates will also be informed through e-mail and SMS regarding the same.
Step 10: Download the copy of the application and take a print for future reference.

• CTET/TET conducted by state governments is mandatory for TGTs/PRTs to be appointed Regular/Contractual. Others found fit in all other respects may beappointed on ‘Adhoc’ basis till attainment of qualification. However, CTET/TET is not mandatory for appearing in CSB Screening exam.
• For TGT Applicants Higher Qualification (with 50% marks) shall be accepted provide the main subject is common.
Age – As on 01 April 2021:
(i) Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (except for Delhi schools where TGT/PRT should be less than 29 yrs and PGT less than 36 years)
(ii) Experienced Candidates (Should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years): Below 57 years (in the case of Delhi 40 Yrs)
APS 2020 Exam Pattern:
The Selection Procedure of AWES 2020 Recruitment consists of three stages – Screening Exam, Interview and Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency. The Screening Exam will be conducted online in the MCQ format. For details see the table below:

• Scores will be normalized to 100.
• There will be negative marking of 1/4thmarksfor each wrong answer.
• Part A and Part B will be available together and the candidates have freedom to answer questions in the order in which they prefer.
• To qualify for a post, the candidate must score minimum 50 % marks in each part.
• Those PGT/TGT candidates who fail in Part B but pass Part A may opt to take a score card for PRT.
APS 2020 Admit Card:
Admit Card will be available online a week before examination. Candidates may download and print the same. The Admit card will also contain COVID related safety instructions. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully.
A list of Exam Centres will be available on the Registration Portal. The candidates are required to fill in three choices in order of preference. Effort shall be made to allot one of the three choices. There may be some changes in the list of exam centres due to administrative reasons. However, no change will be made after issue of Admit Cards.
The APS 2020 exam result will be uploaded on the same portal. The result shall be available on the official website for 30 days after declaration of results. Once the results are removed from the portal, individual Score cards/ results can be obtained on a special request and on payment of a specific administrative charge.
APS 2020 Score Card:
The Score Cards of successful candidates will be available on the Registration Portal after the exam which the candidates may download and laminate. The card will be valid for life provided the candidate takes up teaching position in any CBSE recognized school (for a period of at least one year) within 3 years of issue of Score Card.
