DSSSB Posts Eligibility Criteria
Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB)
has released recruitment notification for 982 vacancies of different posts.
The educational qualifications mentioned in the notification didn’t include B.Ed as the required qualifications based on which requests were raised by some candidates to include the same.
Now as per the latest notice by the Central Administrative Tribunal, the doubts regarding B.Ed degree qualification has been cleared and it has been clearly mentioned that the qualifications declared earlier are final.
Candidates are advised to adhere by the notice and apply for the posts only if they meet the required eligibility criteria. The educational qualification required for Assistant Primary & Nursery Teacher post in DSSSB Recruitment process is given below:
For Assistant Primary:
(i) Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized board/institution.
(ii) Two year’s Diploma / Certificate Course / in Elementary Teacher Education Course/ Junior Basic Training or equivalent or bachelor of elementary education from a recognized institution.
(iii) Candidates must have qualified CTET.
(iv) Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary Level
For Assistant Teacher Nursery :
(i) Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with atleast 45% marks from a recognized Board/university.
(ii) Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme for a duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognized institute.
(iii) Must have passed Hindi at Secondary Level
Therefore, candidates with only B.Ed, not fulfilling the conditions and willing to apply for this post should not get disheartened and prepare for other teaching exams as many more opportunities await for you.
